We use Cox Fiber in the office. At home I am using the Cox High Sped package. That came with a Arris TG2472G Router. I need to log into it so I can start opening PORTS allowing certain network traffic routes up. For example, if I want to log into computers within the network I created, I need to open certain protocols like Secure Shell. That is usually Port 22.
Step one is to log into the Router. There is a standard IP address to look for within the network and the login and password are initially generic. This needs to be changed to protect the network.
